What We Do
Ginny’s Keys and Strings offers both in-home lessons and lessons at an in-home studio. Although lessons are primarily private, group lessons can also be arranged. During the summer, workshops and group classes are offered in addition to lessons. Ginny’s Keys and Strings works with students in Rockland and Northern Bergen Counties.

About Ginny
Ginny Carmen
Ginny grew up in Rockland County, and began studying music when she was 6 years old. She started on the violin, but soon grew to love the piano and viola as well. During her training, Ginny performed in multiple ensembles throughout the tri-state area.
Ginny graduated from Manhattanville College where she studied music performance and psychology. During her time at Manhattanville, she won multiple awards for excellence in music theory and music history, as well as the Sr. Josephine Morgan Prize for All Around Excellence.
Ginny began giving lessons during high school, and has continued ever since. She loves being able to share her love of music with students of all ages and levels of ability. Many of her students have earned high scores at NYSSMA, going on to All County and Area All State.
